Can I cancel my reservation for free?
Is it possible to take out insurance, even for Covid causes?
There are currently highly flexible rates available that minimize the risks of a cancellation. In the case of bookings with a non-refundable formula, cancellations or changes to dates outside the deadlines are not allowed and granted, even in cases of force majeure. Any cancellations, no-shows, early departures do not give the right to any refund. We always advise our guests to privately take out travel insurance that covers all travelers in case of problems, at the moment there are also covers that protect against „covid19“ causes, from the major suppliers, in this way you would have protection for the whole holiday, travel and stay included, at usually not excessive costs, you will find below some link to evaluate the costs and conditions they offer.

Can I have a specific room or apartment?
The rooms and apartments are normally assigned starting from 15:00, upon availability the possibility of occupying the room before the predefined time may be granted, in any case entry into the resort is always granted before this time, so that you can start your holiday even without room availability, in this case you are asked to go to reception for a pre-check in where a mobile number will be requested to contact you as soon as the room is ready. The rooms and apartments must normally left by 10:00 on the day of departure, upon availability the possibility of occupying the room after the predefined time may be granted, for internal reasons it is not possible to know in advance if the late check out will be possible, but only on the morning of departure or the day before at the latest. The assignment of the units is at the discretion of the resort, if you have any preferences, please report them at the time of booking, if possible, everything possible will be done to satisfy the request, but unfortunately it is not possible to give a total guarantee of the assignment.

What does the Residence Formula consist of?

Can I book an apartment and then take advantage of the Resort’s services and restaurants?
Where can I buy food and more?
Formula residence means the sole rental of the apartment with the kitchen up and running. Final cleaning and energy consumption are included in the price, but no daily cleaning by the Resort staff is provided, linen is changed for free once a week, unlike the hotel formula which instead provides daily cleaning and at least breakfast included. Half board, and in general all extra meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) can be easily booked on site, according to the availability of the various restaurants, thus maintaining total freedom to organize your holiday.
By booking an apartment you have the possibility to use all the services of the resort, therefore the beach, swimming pool, entertainment etc, without any distinction. The apartments must be left clean and tidy, with particular attention to the kitchenette and waste disposal, if an anomaly is found upon departure, an amount will be charged at the discretion of the resort.
In the resort there is a shop where you can buy basic products such as pasta, oil, salt, salami, biscuits, while to buy meat, fish, fruit and vegetables we suggest to go in the nearby town of Monte Petrosu, where you can find groceries and a bakery.

Most of the rooms and apartments have a lovely garden view, being all ground floor units they do not have the possibility to have a sea view, with the exception of some apartments, called Sea View Apartments.
Some Comfort rooms and Suites have wheelchair accessible bathrooms, while in this case Family and Apartment types are strongly discouraged, due to the unsuitable bathroom layout.
It is essential to request and report this need at the time of booking. The rooms closest to the pool are the types Comfort, Junior Suite and Suite, the distance varies from 10 to 100 meters away.
There is no type closer than others from the sea, all the units located within the resort limits are about 400 meters from the sea, whether they are Comfort, Junior Suite, Family, Apartments, for internal reasons it is not possible to guarantee 100 % a certain position of the type booked.

Is the beach suitable for children?
The service on La Pipara beach is carried out under the following conditions:
The umbrellas and sunbeds made available are intended until exhaustion, the assignment of the positions takes place by order of arrival at the beach, the abandonment of the beach umbrella and sunbeds for the return to the structure, gives the right to reassign them to other waiting guests. No more than 1 umbrella and 2 sun loungers can be assigned to each room or apartment. At discretion of the resort, first rows may be subject to a fee.
The beach is about 400 meters from the edge of the resort, so you can easily reach it on foot in about 5/10 minutes, or with the comfortable electric shuttle service provided by the resort, which runs one route approximately every 30 minutes.
La Pipara beach is characterized by the presence of sand and has a slowly degrading bottom, therefore also suitable for children, as long as they are always under parental supervision. On the side, the sand gives way to rocks, becoming an attraction for snorkelling activities.
Is the service in the restaurant buffet or à la carte?
The service in our three restaurants is different for each room:
Buffet service at the „Il Maestrale“ restaurant, recommended for those with children who in this way can see and taste rather than choose from a menu, is the restaurant dedicated to half board.
A la carte service at the „Il Libeccio“ restaurant recommended for those who do not like to serve themselves from the buffet but prefer a more comfortable and elegant table service. The opening is at discretion of the resort.
The third restaurant, „La Terrazza Soffi“ also has a table service, where mainly pizzas and grills are served, there is no half board service on this restaurant. The opening is at discretion of the resort.
What are the restaurant opening hours?
Restaurant hours could slightly change during the season, usually covering the hours from 19:30 to 21:30 for dinner and from 12:30 to 14:30 for lunch. Breakfast only at the Il Maestrale restaurant, from 07:30 to 10:00.
Are there any menus for children?
Our chefs always pay close attention to children, therefore a dedicated line of products and dishes is always available.
Is it possible to have gluten free meals?
The kitchen of the resort is equipped to satisfy common needs of our guests, in terms of food intolerances. It is essential to mention your food needs when booking.
How much does an extra meal cost?
The price of a meal varies depending on the restaurant, the buffet restaurant for example provides an entrance fee of € 30 for each adult, € 15 for children between 4 and 11 years, free for children if accompanied from parents.
Is there a dress code to enter the restaurant?
There is no real dress code to have in restaurants, we believe in the common sense of our guests, in case of inappropriate clothing, restaurant managers could intervene.
Do you offer full board and all inclusive?
If I have booked the half board formula, can I exchange dinner with lunch?
Full board, intended as a package price for breakfast, lunch and dinner, is not available, much less the All-inclusive formula, lunch can be easily booked on the spot where different dining options are operating, allowing you total freedom in managing your day of vacation, for example by leaving the resort to visit the beautiful beaches of the protected marine area, as well as giving you the freedom to order and then pay for example only a light salad, instead of paying a full board where at least two dishes per person are quoted. Half board is always and only for dinner, therefore it is not possible to reverse it with lunch.
Does the resort accept pets?
In the resort it is possible to accommodate only and exclusively small pets, up to 15 kg in weight, their presence must be reported at the time of booking and is to be understood after acceptance by our booking office. Pets are not allowed in the common areas: swimming pool, restaurants, beach, bar and Spa. Upon check out, a supplement of € 35 is required for the final disinfection of the room.
Is it possible to organize tours or excursions in the area?
Is it possible to rent cars, scooters, bicycles or dinghies in the resort?
On site there is a convenient Info point office that manages the booking of all the best excursions in the area, and where it is also possible to rent any kind of transport, including rubber dinghies or other boats, with or without skipper. Is the pool water fresh or salt?
How many swimming pools does the resort have?
The resort has a main swimming pool with sundeck and bar, located in the center of the resort, with lifeguard service at certain times, available to all guests staying at the resort. The swimming pool is of salt water, to give an extra service to the guests, with sea water in fact the quantities of chlorine to be introduced are reduced and this allows to avoid redness of the eyes and loss of tan. The umbrellas and sunbeds made available are intended until exhaustion, the assignment is strictly by order of arrival at the pool. The service cannot be booked and is not guaranteed in any case, the abandonment of the beach umbrella and sunbeds for the return to the structure, gives the right to reassign them to other waiting guests. No more than 1 umbrella and 2 sun loungers can be assigned to each room or family unit.
There are also a series of Thalasso pools, located in the wellness center, also with heated sea water that differ in the presence of whirlpools and cervical waterfalls, these pools are available to those who book special packages or for those who buy the access. Children under the age of 16 are not allowed and the Management reserves the right to limit the number of simultaneous users. There is also a small pool for infants, with fresh water, located in the mini club, which can only be used under the supervision of an adult.
Does the resort have parking?
The resort has a lot of parking slots, available for everyone in different areas to facilitate access to the rooms or apartments, the parking is safe, but not guarded. All barred streets are reserved for pedestrians or electric golf cars.
How can I reach the Grande Baia Resort from the port or the airport?
How can I reach the town of San Teodoro or other beaches?
For guests arriving or departing from Olbia, it is possible to have a paid shuttle service, € 70 per way for a 3-seater sedan or € 100 for a 7-seater minivan. The service must be booked in advance by communicating the flight details, and must be reconfirmed by our reception or by the transfer office. For those wishing to exit from the resort, there are different solutions, the rental of a vehicle on site, the booking of a taxi, the use of our shuttle service or even by foot to the nearby beaches (click here to see the various Hiking routes from Grande Baia Resort).
Is there a babysitting service?
The service can be organized from our info point or from our reception, it is organized exclusively on site, it usually involves putting guests in contact with trusted service providers, usually referenced local girls.
Is there a laundry service available?
Yes, we have a classic paid laundry and ironing service, or a comfortable washing machine with dryer in a common area for those who prefer to work independently.
